the hotel is situated just a few steps from Santa Maria dello Spasimo Church, making it an excellent spot for exploring the city's history and charm. The nearby dining options like Pizzeria Origano Palermo offered incredible local flavors within a short walk.

Sadly, the pool wasn't heated, so I found it too cold for swimming during my stay, which was disappointing given the otherwise lovely atmosphere. Additionally, my room felt a bit dark at times since it was at the back of the property, which detracted from the experience. I also wished the breakfast options included more fresh fruit and cereals, as the available pastries became monotonous over my four nights.

Bastione Spasimo Boutique Hotel is a delightful gem where the charming garden and refreshing pool made our stay feel like a retreat. The staff were exceptionally attentive, providing helpful tips for exploring nearby attractions and excellent dining options, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

I stayed in the Standard Double Room for 2 nights and it was really comfy! The bed was huge and super soft, perfect for crashing after a long day. The room had this gorgeous, beautifully redone decor that made it feel so cozy. The only thing was that it felt a bit dark at times, could have used more light. Overall, a great spot to relax after exploring Palermo!

During our four-night stay, we explored Palermo's historic sites which were conveniently a short walk away, including the stunning Piazza Marina and the impressive Cattedrale di Palermo. The highlight of our trip was the beautiful garden area where we enjoyed unwinding with a refreshing drink by the pool. The room, with its charming original stone ceiling, provided a blend of comfort and character that made our stay special.

The friendly staff not only fulfilled our birthday wishes but also offered valuable tips for nearby dining and attractions. Enjoying drinks with fresh ingredients by the tiny but refreshing pool in the secluded garden was a highlight, although the pool could have been a bit warmer for swimming comfortably. Parking nearby was convenient, and the location made exploring the area very easy.

We had a beautiful room with this fine original stone ceiling that gave it character, just like something out of a dream! And the pool area? It was like our own private oasis under those sun-drenched skies, just perfect for unwinding after a day out. The staff? Amazingly friendly and always there to help with anything we needed.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but for the quality we got, it was still an acceptable price.

An appropriate option for shopping in Palermo with decent value for money. The garden area was a nice surprise for relaxation. Try to enjoy the pool early for a quieter experience.
